Nancy Raen-Mendez
Nancy Raen-Mendez is an artist and an educator who specializes in paintings and drawings. She explores themes of archetype, mythology, social connections, and personal narrative. She has an interest in craft and has formal atelier training in painting and drawing.
Meet the Artist
Nancy has been creating, studying, and teaching art at the University level for over fifteen years. She also has significant experience teaching P-12 students and adult learners.
She finds daily inspiration by connecting with nature. She currently lives and works in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Artistic Journey
Nancy Raen-Mendez is an accomplished artist. She has received many awards including an Indiana Individual Artist Grant. She has served as an artist panelist for statewide artists grants in Indiana and Kentucky. Nancy has juried a number of art exhibitions and she has exhibited and lectured widely about her work.
